SRT vs VTT
They're almost the same: VTT starts with a WEBVTT line, uses a dot instead of a comma for milliseconds (00:00:01.500) and doesn't need numbered cues. Converting keeps timings and text; VTT-only position and style settings are dropped when converting to SRT, which doesn't support them.

Is anything lost converting VTT to SRT?
Timings and text are kept. VTT position and style settings are dropped, because SRT doesn't support them.
Can I convert subtitles to Word?
